Tutankhamun

Cranbrook Institute of Science has new exhibit about King Tut. It has a lot of Egyptian artifacts. There was a lot of gold and a lot of little art pieces.

The coolest piece was a chariot they rode in.

There was also a bed.

I liked the exhibit but it was not as interactive as previous ones. There are some cool hands on activities towards the back. You can build pyramid on a table. There is a computer game where you wrap a mummy.

I attended the members preview and it was crowded. People sounded like they liked the exhibit. I look forward to checking it out again and finding new things.

I recommend you go check it out.

Tutankhamen: “Wonderful Things” from the Pharaoh’s Tomb runs through September 3, 2017. Tickets are $10 for adults who are non-members and $9 for members. Children 2-12 and seniors are $8 each. Non-members must also pay museum admission.
